Simpsons Angel to Freedom
Page 4: Dreams of Freedom
Lisa begins to dream. She is sitting out on her open window, watching the bugs and bats fly. She keeps staring at them wondering. Suddenly out of nowhere she jumps out of her window! She closes her eyes knowing she is falling down to what seemed like a forever fall, but she never touched the ground. She felt a nice calm breeze on her face, and she opens her eyes to see what was going on and why she never touched the ground. As her eyes opened, she realized she was flying! She was merely gliding through the blackened night’s sky with the luna’s light shining down on her. She couldn’t believe what was happening, there is no way she could break the laws of physics so easily! She felt so alive and free! The feeling of defying gravity, the wind in her face, the joy she felt!
Lisa: Waiiit.. I can’t fly.
She quickly figured out it was a dream, and woke up.
Lisa: Damn, that dream… That dream felt so…so…real… a little too real. This was probably the best dream I‘ve ever had. Well the best one other than the dream where I marry Nelson and instead of a car we rode on a unicorn.
Lisa: Hmm… I didn’t even know I could still have flying dreams. I thought I was over those. Oh well, it was a great dream anyways who cares?
Lisa checks the time on her alarm clock.
Lisa: Oh, it’s only 2:00 a.m. I should get back to sleep.
Lisa goes to sleep again just to catch herself having the exact same dreams as before. She wakes up again wondering if she is going to have trouble sleeping. She falls asleep and wakes up at awkward hours for the rest of the early morning.
She finally decides to get up at 6:00, even though she didn’t sleep well. She gets dressed and put on her white pearl necklace. Suddenly she feels the tingling sensation she felt yesterday, her back rapidly twitched, then stopped.
Lisa: My god… (Blurts) I mean Buddha!! What is wrong with me?
Lisa went downstairs exhausted. She cannot explain what just happened, but she knows that something is seriously wrong with her.Next:
